[on Tax] Tianfu Group organized a training event themed "the impact of new tax policies on enterprises and individuals"

At the moment, China’s tax is undergoing profound changes and various new policies have been vigorously introduced. It poses no small challenges to small and medium-sized enterprises to digest these policies, calmly dealing with tax reform and circulation and implementing details. 
To help us learn more about the impact of new tax policies on enterprises and individuals, on the afternoon of March 15, the Finance Department of Tianfu Group, led by President Chi Cheng, organized the training themed “the impact of new tax policies on enterprises and individuals”. Nearly 100 colleagues including leaders and project directors from Tianfu Group's various departments, business divisions and platform companies in Shanghai and Chengdu attended the training.

Liu Yun, former senior director of Shanghai Tax Inspection Bureau, was invited as the main lecturer for this training, who explained in simple terms the impact of new tax policies on enterprises and individuals from three aspects: 1) China under tax reform from 2016 to 2019; 2) Six major challenges facing enterprises under tax reform; 3) The new situation of tax inspection response in 2019. The whole training is full of real practical tips, enabling everyone to have a deeper understanding and comprehension of finance and tax knowledge.

Liu Yun, former senior director of Shanghai Tax Inspection Bureau
Mr. Liu, with 30 years of tax work experience, successively held the posts of tax specialist, consultant, inspector, deputy director, and director. Since 2012, he has been the visiting lecturer of Shanghai Tax Cadre School, training inspectors and section directors for tax inspection skills and practice. His recorded video courseware became the content of distance education for Shanghai tax cadres. He participated in or led the inspection of cases such as "a unit-owned exchequer of 340 million yuan of a bureau in Shanghai", " tax evasion of a famous entertainer ", "tax evasion of the richest person in Shanghai by opening VAT invoices", "tax evasion of an imported furniture company in Shanghai", " tax evasion of a beauty salon in Shanghai" and other major cases supervised and handled by the Municipal Bureau, the General Bureau, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the State Council. He also led a team to inspect financial institutions such as ICBC, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, Xinhua Insurance and HSBC Insurance. He established extensive contacts at work with the inspection departments of tax bureaus and the economic investigation division of municipal public security bureau.

After the training, the participants said that the training was very instructive for future financial work, and the one-to-one consultation and explanation solved many problems accumulated in practice. This training kicked off the company’s tax training and learning. In the future, the Group will actively organize and carry out various training activities to improve the professional level of the talent team.
